Renting

What is BollyBooth? 

BollyBooth is a UK-based rental service offering beautifully curated lehengas and Asian occasion wear for weddings, parties and special events so you can look incredible without the high purchase cost.

How does it work? 

It’s simple:

  • Browse our collection and choose your outfit

  • Select your size and rental dates

  • Receive your outfit 1–2 days before your event

  • Wear it, then return it using the prepaid label provided

Cleaning is included — no hidden fees.

What if it doesn’t fit?

If your outfit doesn’t fit, contact us immediately after delivery and return it for a refund. We want your experience to be completely stress-free.

How long can I rent an item for? 

Rent for as many days as you need. Simply select your preferred rental duration when booking.

Need it longer? Just message us - we’re happy to help.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No deposit required.

You only pay the rental fee - nothing extra.


Delivery and Returns

Where does BollyBooth deliver? 

We currently deliver across the United Kingdom.

At this time, we are unable to offer international rentals.


When will my rental be delivered?

Your outfit will arrive 1–2 days before your event start date so you have time to try it on and feel confident.

You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your rental is dispatched.

If you need your outfit by a specific time, we recommend selecting an earlier start date for peace of mind.

If there are any unexpected delivery issues, please contact us — we’re here to help.


What happens if I’m not in to accept the delivery?

We strongly recommend ensuring someone is available to receive the package to avoid delays.


My rental hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

First, check your tracking link.

If your rental hasn’t arrived by 4pm on your expected delivery date, please contact us immediately at info@bollybooth.com so we can assist you.


What happens if I’ve lost my returns label?

Please contact us via email at info@bollybooth.com.


How do I return my outfit? 

Returning your rental is simple.

  1. Place the outfit back in the reusable packaging

2. Attach the prepaid returns label

3. Drop it at your local delivery office or locker on or before your return date

Please keep your proof of postage for tracking.

Cleaning is included - no need to wash or dry clean the outfit.


Is there a penalty fee for a late return?

Many of our outfits have back-to-back bookings, so timely returns are very important.

If you think you may miss your return date, please contact us as soon as possible.

Late returns may incur a £25 per day fee.


Cleaning

Do I need to clean my rental before returning it?

No, cleaning is included in your rental.

Simply enjoy your outfit and return it at the end of your rental period. Our professional dry-cleaning team will take care of everything.

Are the outfits professionally clean?

Yes. Every BollyBooth outfit is professionally dry cleaned and thoroughly inspected after each rental to ensure it arrives fresh, hygienic and ready to wear.

Your comfort and confidence are our priority.

Can I iron the rented items?

Please avoid using an iron directly on the garment.

If needed, we recommend gently steaming the outfit to remove any fold creases. Avoid applying direct heat to delicate fabrics or embellishments.

If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us for guidance.

Damage

What if I damage or lose my rental?

We understand that accidents can happen.

If your outfit is accidentally stained or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bollybooth.com so we can assess the situation.

Minor wear and tear is expected with rentals and won’t be penalised.

In cases of significant damage, a repair or replacement fee may apply depending on the extent of the issue.

We always aim to be fair and reasonable.


What if I notice that the stitching or embroidery is not intact? 

If you notice any loose stitching or embroidery when your outfit arrives - or during your rental - please let us know at info@bollybooth.com

You won’t be penalised for normal wear and tear. Our in-house tailoring team will take care of any necessary repairs - just keep us informed.


Fit

What if the item does not fit? 

If your outfit doesn’t fit, don’t worry — you’re covered.

We offer a refund of 100% of the rental fee (excluding delivery) if the fit isn’t right.

To qualify:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your parcel

  • Ensure the safety ribbon remains attached and the outfit is unworn

  • Return the item using the prepaid label provided

Once we receive the returned outfit, we’ll process your refund promptly.

We recommend trying your outfit on as soon as it arrives so we can assist you quickly if needed.
